Dish Anywhere Slingplayer Download Mac
I only seem to be able to connect via WiFi. I also have a couple of WiFi-only iPad Minis, so they connect via WiFi by default.

If you are a DISH Network customer, the following devices are NOT compatible with the SlingPlayer app. Hopper with Sling receiver - VIP 922 receiver - Sling Adapter Watch and control video sources such as: - Cable set-top box and DVR - Satellite set-top box and DVR - Telco / IPTV set-top box and DVR - Basic cable - Digital Over-the-Air. When I connect my set-top box to my TV with HDMI connections, I can't stream video at all using any version of SlingPlayer. If you have video equipment that connects to your TV using an HDMI cable and you try to stream, you may get extremely poor or no video using Watch on Slingbox.com, SlingPlayer for Windows or SlingPlayer for Mac.
Whenever I start up DISH Anywhere when it's in cellular mode, I get this message:

Now I generally don't want to burn my cellular data limits on lots of video, but more often I'm looking to set my DISH DVR timer to record something. However, I can't find a way to turn on cellular data for DISH Anywhere. I looked under Settings>Cellular and I don't see anything available for the DISH Anywhere app. Other apps have a choice to select cellular data at the main Settings menu, but there's nothing for DISH Anywhere under the list of apps in Settings.
This is kind of frustrating. Sometimes I forget to set my DVR, and it's convenient to do it on the road. However, I can't always find WiFi. Sometimes I'm lucky and I can find a Comcast WiFi or other public hotspot, but sometimes all I can get is a cellular connection.
Anyone have an idea what to do to set it up to connect via cellular data?
